New Year

Well it's a new year and i'll try for some new habits. I'll make more of an effort to update my blog (not sure how long this will last though!)

I've finally finished the tank top I started back in May!

I have been knitting other things while i've been doing this, it hasn't taken me 8 months of continuous knitting to finish it, i'm not that slow a knitter, honest.

I've finished the back of my tank top and am currently on the ribbing of the front and i'm also part way through a shawl

Needed a small project to knit whilst Daniel is up so started making a small purse, which is now finished, and i'm currently knitting a little bag to go with it.

I'm now over half way up the back of my tank top, too many stitches on a row to do when Daniel's up.

I knitted this bag a few years ago and last night my mum helped me line it and it now has 2 buttons on it to fasten it. I'll take a new pic tomorrow

New Project

I've now started my tank top. This is the pattern i'd seen which got me back into knitting so i'm really happy that i've started it. The pattern is Sirdar 8945 and i'm knitting it in Plum

Bag & Skinny Scarf

Well i've finished my skinny scarf and also made a card to go with the bag and scarf set. It was for a present for my cousin's daughter's birthday which is tomorrow, I dropped it off this evening I hope she likes it all.

Knitting

When I started knitting again a few weeks ago I thought i'd better finish a project I started 6 years ago!!! Well I did get it finished, I just need to sew it together, once I have i'll post a piccie.

In the last week and a bit i've knitted a small bag from a pattern in Issue 16 of Lets Knit and a pair of slippers for Daniel from a pattern written by my friend Su2ie from Lets Knit forum. I'm currently knitting a skinny scarf also from I16 of LK to go with the bag.

Well this is my first blog so a bit about me. I'm mummy to Daniel who's 18 months old and I love him to bits; engaged to Dave, we've been together 6 years and we're getting married in September.

I enjoy crafting and making things; I make cards, have had a go at scrapbooking and i've recently taken up knitting again. I'm hoping this blog with help me to work my way through the tasks I set myself.
